PLEASE NOTE: Before attending any field trip you must register at least 1 hour in advance. Early registration is recommended as field trip space is limited.  Registration can be made by emailing your preferences to CADesertNatrFest@aol.com. 

Please check with the registration area on the day of your field trip where you will to receive a map with directions, sign a waiver, pay your fee if applicable and receive your free packet of information and any special instructions.

Seminars are held in the Education Complex at the Living Desert. Directions are available at the Registration desk.

Exhibitors Fair - Information on everything from cars to desert water

Vendors Fair  Nature's best books, baubles and binoculars

KidÕs Habitat - Activities, animals, puppets and more. Lots of fun even for the oldest of "kids"!

CREEC Student Environmental Art Exhibit - Check out the wonderful art from local students.

California Plein Air Artists - As you wander the Living Desert grounds keep an eye open for professional artists at work.

Butterflies Alive - The Living Desert's live butterfly exhibit is not to be missed! Admission: $2.00 or free for members of The Living Desert. 

Interpretive Zones - Around every corner at the Party for the Planet you will find a surprise!  Look for on site mini-presentations about wildflowers, skulls, geology, animal nutrition Cahuilla Native Americans, nests, packrats, raptors, feathers, amphibians, giraffes and much more!  Fabulous!
